Come and see the amazing artistic talent in our community at this year's Steel Days Art Show. The 2020 Art Show will be exhibited at the American Fork Library (64 S. 100 E.) on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, July 7-9 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Friday, July 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, July 11 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Art Show is FREE TO THE PUBLIC and all local artists are invited to showcase their artwork!

IMPORTANT: Please read the following information carefully! The Art Show rules have changed due to current health and safety standards.
Age Divisions: Youth and Adult. The Youth category is split into High School, Junior High, Intermediate (grades 4-6), Primary (grades 1-3), and Kindergarten/Preschool. The Adult category is split into Experienced (professional artists) and Novice.

Media Categories
- Painting: oil, acrylic, watercolor
- Photography: color, black/white, digital
- Mixed Media: two-dimensional work that includes two or more different mediums - chalk, paper, collage, paint, graphite, wire, fabric, etc.
- Drawing: graphite, charcoal, colored pencil, digital, calligraphy, markers, etc.
- Sculpture: three-dimensional work in clay, stone, bronze, sculpture/woodcarving, metal, etc.
Art Drop-off will be on Monday, July 6 between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the American Fork Library.
Art Entry Rules
- All participating artists need to register before Sunday, July 5 by midnight
- Only one entry per artist
- All 2-D artwork in youth and adult divisions must be framed with a wire hanger on the back (diagram 1). Any entry that does not have a wire hanger (diagram 2) will be disqualified to enter the show and the entry fee will be forfeited and donated to the city of American Fork
- A printed copy of the confirmation email must be shown at the art drop-off
- Artwork must not exceed 36 inches in any direction
- Entries must not exceed 15 pounds
- All art entries must be picked up at the AF Library on Monday, July 13
Awards: Professional artists in the American Fork Visual Arts Program will select the art for awards. Entries in the Youth and Adult Divisions may be awarded first, second, and third place ribbons with small cash awards in each category. Honorable mention awards may also be given. Special awards are "Best of Show," "Mayor's Choice," and "Timpanogos Arts Foundation’s Choice".
Artist Reception and Awards Ceremony: An artist reception and awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, July 9 at 7:00 p.m. at Robinson Park (100 E. Main St).
Art Release: Art release will be Monday, July 13 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. All artwork must be picked up before the AF Library closes. Any artwork not picked up on that date will be taken to the Art Center on 53 West Main Street, American Fork and be fined a $10 storage fee. Artwork left at the Art Center after 30 days will become the property of the Timpanogos Arts Foundation.
