One of the most anticipated traditions of Steel Days is the Steel Days Fair, returning on Saturday, July 18 at Mary and Art Dye Park (1000 N. 550 E.). The festivities begin at 5:00 p.m., leading into the Drone Show later that evening.
The Steel Days Fair is a high-energy, family-focused event packed with FREE activities for children, including bounce houses and inflatable slides, a petting zoo, reptile exhibit, face painting, airbrush and henna tattoos, a balloon artist, and much more. Families are encouraged to arrive early, set out lawn chairs and blankets to reserve their spot for the Drone Show, and enjoy a full evening of activities and community celebration.
New this year, we are excited to introduce the Youth Entrepreneur Market: a dedicated space designed to showcase and support young business owners from elementary school age through recently graduated high school seniors. This market provides a real-world opportunity for youth to develop confidence, practice business skills, and bring their entrepreneurial ideas to life.
The Youth Entrepreneur Market will be operated in partnership with the Teen Entrepreneur Association, an organization committed to mentoring and empowering the next generation of business leaders. A portion of the proceeds from the market will directly support their mission of helping young entrepreneurs turn their business dreams into reality.
By adding the Youth Entrepreneur Market, Steel Days continues its tradition of celebrating not only our history, but also our future; investing in innovation, leadership, and opportunity for the next generation.
The evening will culminate with the official kickoff of Steel Days 2026, as the Opening Ceremonies begin at 9:00 p.m., launching a week of celebration, connection, and community pride.
