KIDS PARADE
Sponsored by Crumbl - American Fork
Calling all kids! On Wednesday, July 22nd the Kids Parade is coming back to Steel Days and will be held at the Utah State Developmental Center Campus at 7:00 p.m. Decorate your bikes, wagons, scooters, strollers, wheelchairs, or even yourself and join us for the return of this beloved Steel Days tradition. This fun-filled event gives children the chance to be the stars of their own parade as they travel through a safe, family-friendly route around the beautiful grounds of the Utah State Developmental Center and Quail Cove Park. Children of all ages through junior high are invited to participate.
The parade will begin in the parking lot on the north side of Quail Cove Park and follow a loop around a portion of the Utah State Developmental Center campus before returning to the starting area. Families are encouraged to get creative and decorate their bikes, scooters, wagons, and strollers with patriotic colors, favorite characters, sports themes, community hero tributes, or anything that shows off their imagination. Costumes are encouraged! Prizes will be given to the kids that show the most creativity!
