Presented in conjunction with Utah Lake Authority
Sponsored by TBD
The beach is coming to Steel Days! Join us for an exciting new addition to the Steel Days celebration as we partner with the Utah Lake Authority to bring a full day of family-friendly fun to the beautiful American Fork Boat Harbor on Monday, July 20 from Noon to 10:00 p.m. Inspired by activities featured at the popular Utah Lake Festival, the Day at the Beach/Marina will combine outdoor recreation, friendly competition, community gathering, and lakeside relaxation into one unforgettable summer event. Whether you want to compete, explore, or simply enjoy a summer evening by the water, there will be something for everyone.
Planned activities include the crowd-favorite Cardboard Boat Race, where teams build boats out of cardboard and duct tape before racing around the marina. Teams will receive materials and are encouraged to design and build their boats ahead of time for maximum creativity and speed. Participants may also have the opportunity to win exciting raffle prizes.
Another featured event will be Paddle Board Jousting, where opponents battle it out on paddle boards using foam jousting sticks in an entertaining tournament-style competition. Safety equipment, waivers, and lifeguard supervision will be provided.
Additional activities currently being planned and finalized include:
