Steel Days offers many activities for people in American Fork. However, there are also activities during the rest of the summer. One event that has been popular through the years is the Summer Concert Series. It's changed locations and formats but remains a community favorite.
This year, it will take on a slightly different look, one that promises to be even more relaxing. The concerts will be at the Quail Cove Amphitheater, 851 E. 700 North, but this summer those who attend will be located in the grassy area on the south side of the stage. They are invited to bring blankets and chairs.
Attendees are invited to come early, starting at 6 p.m., and save their spot and enjoy menu items form a variety of food trucks. There will also be booths and boutique items for sale. The music will begin at 7 p.m.
The concerts begin June 4, and continue June 11, 18, and 25. They will continue through July on July 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30. For the July 16th concert, the format will revert to using the rock amphitheater seats for the traditional American Fork Symphony performance.
